Why am i considered a racist?
i will hire blacks, hispanics, whites, asians or whatever but i insist that they speak english.
so how am i racist?
if they can't speak and understand the language of the land how is that anyones fault but their own?

Doesn't matter if they would be dealing with customers or not. If you run a business in the US and you do not speak the language of the person who wants a job then it is your choice to hie them or not hire them because if you can't communicate with them it is no different then if a customer cannot communicate with them. Not hiring them because they do not speak english is in NO WAY being racist. If someone wants a job they need to prepare themselves to meet the criteria of the job. Whether or not someone wants to admit it that DOES include being able to speak the language required to perform the duties of that position. That is THEIR responsibility.NOT yours.

how often do we all spend trying to understand people in call centres when trying to fix our internet or mobile connection its precious time wasted and for a business its not very professional or efficient

I do not find that to be racist. I find it to be perfectly logical. If I went to Japan, and only spoke english how would I get a job without learning the language?
i guess it depends on the kind of job, like if it was a clerk or something like that i agree with you, but if it was a stock worker they should be considered, and you have to give them time to learn the language you can't learn it overnight, but maybe you're just worried about hiring illegal immigrants,
anyone that comes here should respect us by learning our language.
