My aunt's husband has been waiting to receive his visa to the united states for about 10 years. However, the United States has completely ignored him. My aunt works in the US at buy.com and she really wants to see her husband. Because of his immigration status she has not had any children. Now, here is my question: How is this remotely fair when such an educated man(her husband is a dentist) who has been trying to come here *legally* and be with his wife cannot get a chance to come to this country, but those who can just jump over a wall can come here and receive *citizenship* by paying money and not doing anything bad?
Don't the illegal immigrants in this country feel evil that they came illegally and now want their families and someone's husband who has been waiting his turn cannot come here?
How come, poor uneducated people who are illegal can receive legal status and people who have been waiting cannot?

Correction: those who you claim jump over a wall CANNOT receive citizenship by paying money and not doing anything bad! Unless they have a sponsor, which can also take years! And if your Aunt & Uncle are so educated and successful then they wouldn't have problem surviving in their country. Most illegal immigrants come to the US bc they are escaping poverty and want a better life. If these immigrants were so successful they wouldn't be here!
I agree with you I think the poeple who love America and want to come here legally should go right to the front of the line , everyone else should get a kick in the azz. More mexicans should realize that the illegals are making it difficult for the people who really deserve to be here.
The only good thing that was in that bill was that in the future they are going to give more points to educated people. They did not go far enough with this bill and it is not over yet. I am calling on everyone to write their representatives and let them know how they feel. Perhaps the American people will feel good about a complete overhaul in Washington. Who we vote in, we can certainly vote out.
i totally agree with you, illegals still should not receive anything, at least your family can say they are doing it with pride!! hope something changes for you soon!!
It is a shame that most of the time nice guys finish last! I'm am ashamed of the people running this country. This totally angers me as an American citizen! I'll be surprised if there isn't a riot of some sort once this thing passes!!! I can't believe the government is totally overlooking what the people of the United States really wants in regards to illegal immigration. I am sooooo disgusted!
That's too bad that they tried to do things the right way and it hasn't worked. This new reform will be able to help them. Since he has a profession, he'll probably be one of the first ones to receive this benefit. GL.
That's what i am talking about! I heard about this lady being married to this guy and his dad was an ignored immigrant. Same reason, same stuff etc. It is unfair. What should we do? Break the law and get a legal citizenship as a reward? It's unfair and it's not the right way of doing it. I am thinking of immigrating there to join my sister, what should i do? Break the law and get rewarded? Or just show my qualifications and skills and then even marrying someone and then even getting ignored? It doesn't make any sense. The government should get its priorities right.
