Our immigration policies have...for a very long time now...effectively shut the door to (legal) immigration by the poor, huddled masses yearning to breathe free. Instead, we designed and attempt to enforce a system that admits the privileged, educated, and rich.
Those of us descended from immigrants (mostly legal, I am sure) from before WWII had forefathers (and foremothers) who entered under a system that, while establishing national quotas, tended to favor those who were persecuted, underprivileged, and indeed yearning to breathe free. We have lost our way somewhere in the past 60 years or so.
Yes, it would be better to send ALL illegals back to where they came from. It could take years though, but what other choice are there? I am with you 100%! You are not being racist at all, you are just concerned for our America and for our safety with terrorism. It is the Demos who are trying to force this 'illegal act immigration bill' down our throats with the help of a few Republicans and even our own President. That's why we Americans need to pressure our senators, governors, etc..to stop all 'illegal activities from coming to our country. The government might try to bring this immigration bill back, but what I am concerned right now is what are they doing in the meantime about the illegals? Are they working with a 'plan' that they have up their sleeve and again want to force their 'plan' down our American throats?
I am a concerned American and I hope that they will secure our borders immediately before we get more illegals here.
If illegals can come to our country without getting caught, then yes, terrorists can come to our country as well. In fact, there were terrorists who already try to plan terrorists acts here in our country already, but were caught. Something needs to be done with our borders and something needs to be done with all the terrorists who want to destroy us all. And it should start with the 'culprit' of Iran, because Iran is the one who is arming these terrorists with weapons and they are also aiding all these terrorist groups such as Hamas, Al Queda, Brigades, etc. So, it has to start with them. We Americans need to stand up for what is right and never remain silent!
