Probably about five times as much until our economy is back up on its feet.
I wouldn't have a problem picking my own oranges or apples.. I've plowed my own hay, cleaned my own house and toilets, I've picked up horse poop and cut my own grass. Personally, I won't miss the illegal aliens doing work that WE should be doing. Besides, who do you think did it all in the first place? And don't say the slaves 'cause that ended years ago :)

Who cares. If they come back under a guest worker visa we can still keep track of them and get real taxes out of them. Oranges are out of season right now, so they are probably coming from Chili anyway.

This is a bogus argument, when you consider the ancillary costs of providing free health care, free education, free legal services and bi-lingual services. Given these hidden costs, oranges are quite expensive already.

I have NO PROBLEM with this, if it buys us secure borders.
Consider how much is saved when they get dropped off the welfare rolls and, stop ripping off the healthcare system, and the cost to educate their kids, the small rise in the cost of oranges is miniscule.
Why worry about the oranges,if we get rid of the illegals,we can afford to eat something else that is a little more expensive and enjoy it more.

You DO know that there are machines that they are developing that will pick the fruit...even STRAWBERRIES! In 10 years the illegal aliens will be obsolete to the farmers and ranchers. And WHERE will they go and what jobs will they take?
