Answer:
They can work for less than minimum wage. The problem is..once we make them legal, they can't work for less than minimum wage...then we'll "need" 15 million more illegals to take their place.
We don't need ILLEGAL immigrants.

Because legal immigrants, like citizens, can't be exploited as easily or as severely as illegals. Illegals tend to believe that they have no recourse when cheated, underpaid, lied to, or exposed to hazardous working conditions by the employers, for instance.
Without illegal immigrant workers to exploit, many businesses would go under.

We don't need them here. We don't need their so called "cheap labor.". There are plenty of people willing to do the work that illegals do, but never get the chance to do it. I've read on this site that the pro illegals say that without them [illegals], the cost of produce would go up. We've got plenty of cheap labor in the prisons right now. Millions of inmates who would be glad to pick produce for 25 cents an hour.

If we needed more workers, all we need to do is increase our immigration quota. There are at least a billion people around the world that would come here in a heartbeat.

The agriculture argument is a lame argument to try to justify illegal aliens. Only 25% of illegal aliens work in agriculture, the rest of the jobs are filled by Americans.

We don't need them here at all! Some people don't want to pay a FAIR WAGE! They are the ones who want the Illegals here! It would be cheaper for us to pay 20 cents more on everything we buy than to support them! Believe me, I Know! I worked at a PUBLIC HOSPITAL in Colorado Springs CO! When these people have so much as a cough they come to The Emergency Room! Of course, they SAY they have no money! Even if they did have money they would say that! Guess who gets to pay their bills? They are keeping regular people's wages artificially low! Start buying USA only labels, quit buying foreign goods, see what happens! High priced USA Products will become more affordable!

We don't need them per say..but would you mind paying a higher price for everything out there made by cheap labor? Business certainly think they are valuable, that's why they aren't jumping on the anti-illegal immigrant bandwagon. They find it more profitable for themselves and cheaper to get illegals to do the work as some people who get their lawn's mowed, etc as well. In the end it's all about money and how much you want to pay for everything. I don't like illegal immigration because it brings with it problems of poverty, crime and simply not knowing who they are..but crapping on Mexicans isn't going to help, neither is building a wall, neither is granting them amnesty, what will help is cracking down on business who hire them..but the government won't do that...wonder why?
