We don't have an "immigration" problem as far as I know. We allow more legal immigrants to the U.S. than any other country.
The U.S. has a problem enforcing our laws concerning ILLEGAL ALIENS. But they are not immigrants.
It's an insult to legal immigrants to be considered together with illegal aliens.

i agree with you, i am against illegal immigration because i believe that there are only so many people this country can hold, and if we end up with too many illegal immigrants going on welfare and taking away the resources necessary to natural born and legal immigrants who have a right to be here, then we will all eventually perish- America cannot support her 300 million people population along with those of other countries.

Before you learn Spanish, please learn to spell in English, its Immigrant... and I haven't given up on the things that are important, I just don't think this is a top priority right now. It has been going on for YEARS.
speak for yourself, I'm not fat, lazy or stupid. I think our need for cheap manual labor just goes with the fact that we've become a 1st world country. Due to American ingenuity, hard work, and the high level of technology & education, we are wealthy enough that we can afford not to do some jobs, that we don't like doing. How is that so bad?? What are the most common jobs that immigrants do.food service (yuck), agricultural work (toiling in the hot sun all day long), janitorial work (scrubbing crap off toilets), construction (toiling in the hot sun all day long...3 stories above the ground). Why is so bad to have hard-working people from other countries doing these jobs?? They come here for a better life...escaping poverty or oppression in their own countries...and they do the jobs we don't want. Sounds like a fine trade-off to me.
Stop freaking out, learn a few words in Spanish if you feel that threatened. It's easy...gracias, de nada, por favor, donde esta el bano. that's enough to get by right there. ciao.
