Mexico is a Great nation, and Mexico is friend, neighbor and partner of other Greatest nation: The USA.

Mexico is also a poor country, but that is called Capitalism.
In Capitalitic nations you will find rich and poor people. Ignorant or educated people, brown, black, yellow, or white people.
In Cuba
on the other hand, Extreme poverty exists, discrimiantion exists, segregation, ... like in Chiapas or Oaxaca.

Poverty exists everywhere, even in the US. I'm still trying to figure out what point you are trying to make. And what does anti-semitism have to do with poverty in Cuba?

What makes you think we defend Cuba's communism? To the contrary, the reason the Cuban 'wet foot dry foot' rule (which is what I suspect is your issue) exists is because our President at the time SO HATED Cuba's communist government that he decided anyone fleeing there had to be a friend. Sort of a 'my enemies enemy is my friend' logic.
That rule was adopted before mass illegal immigration and before many of the subsidized services we have now. It won't be repeated with any other country, and Bush has signalled that if Castro dies, immigration will likely be 'normalized' which would get rid of the wet foot dry foot policy.
we're not defending cubas economy, we're defending the cuban people who are being suppressed. the mexicans in oaxaca and chipas can demand their rights with out being killed. if people from mexico want a better life then they should come here legally and have the rights they are demanding while illegal. they keep trying to justify being illegal, and they don't have good enough reasons.

How would you like to explain the poor in Africa?? They are among the poorest nations on earth, much poorer than Mexico or Cuba.
By the way, since you want to talk about deportation, how about we (the USA) adopt Mexico's policy on illegal immigrants and treat them the same as Mexico does illegal aliens from their neighbors to the south of Mexico??

Well, now the eternally ignorant have answered, Cuba is poor of course but what could be worse?...the Cuba that had all the deviates from the US coming over to party doing everything they were not allowed to at home; using the Cuban woman any way they wanted; getting drunk; just totally exploiting the population while the rest withered in poverty...after Castro sent the Americans packing with their nose out of joint, they tried one attempt that even their own government did not back , to get it back so the Americans placed all kinds of embargo's etc but none worked..initially, the Russians helped and Cuba became seriously indebted but as the rest of the world came back, tourism boomed, a haven from Americans, maybe...now, Cuba has more doctors per capita and all are taken care of; because of a shortage of fuel, better conservation methods than anywhere in the world; their food is primarily organic and non genetically modified; everyone eats; and like I said tourists love Cuba...and, one reason the US has not given up persecuting Cuba is not because of the people, it is they want compensation for the assets they believe were stolen from them...assets THEY stole from the Cubans...if Castro had given compensation, they would be best friends today...50 thousand plus Americans died in Vietnam and they are now friends..so no, what you read in the press is not at all indicative of the real Cuba and if Bush thinks he will be welcomed with open arms when Castro dies, think again...he would stand a better chance naked in Iraq.and the last laugh is coming, Chavez is helping Cuba develop it's oil sources and Bush may just have to come begging with a pail.and Mexico? Democracy rules! Right?...don't think so...if any country is in need of a Castro, it is Mexico...either very rich or very poor...ask the Indian populations of Chiapas or Oaxaca...do not look to your friends to the north for help or a role model..look to Chavez or Castro to get the job done...the Americans will just use and abuse you and when all you have to give is gone then they will toss you like the "illegals" they so hate now ..unless, of course, they are getting their bagel and coffee served by a Mexican making 2$ an hour...enough said and I am not a Communist just a liberal socialist who believes in Castro and being Canadian we have seen it first hand.
