How does the "censorship" on this website work?
Answer:
simple...everything's computerized. No humans.
I think that there is something wrong with Y!A tonight.
You, me and USA...I am sure we aren't the only ones either!
I had the same thing go wrong with a question that I posted, and the other day I got an email that the censorship had thought that "sparknotes.com" was not a legit. site.
Yahoo filters out anything that its workers are offended by. Eventually, Yahoo will be bought by another company and most Yahoo employees will be fired.
Yahoo hires a lot of uneducated people that come from 3rd world countries where they have no concept of how companies make money. They fail to realize that customers make a company money. (Internet companies make their money from people looking at ads. Less ad viewing results in drops in revenue) That lack of understanding of business is prevalent in 3rd world countries. That is why the countries that Yahoo employees ran away from (Mexico, India, Pakistan, etc. ) are so poor.
Yahoo is fading is slowly fading into eventual oblivion due to that lack of understanding of business and business models. Every year it continues to lose customers to competitors. And it blindly hopes that miraculously customers and visitors will return. It just doesn't happen and it won't happen.
Yahoo is dipping into its cash reserves just to survive. That comes from hiring people that don't have a clue about business.
Well they are probably going to ban these too if they think we are harrassing them?
Yes, but people are supposed to be notified if a question is deleted or they violated the "community guidelines". It's wrong to just delete a question without telling the poster why.
its happened to me a few times.
It's really simple. The only requirement to be censored is that you be American, English speaking, and against illegal trespassing criminals from Mexico and you can rest assured, no matter what you say, they will attempt to censor you.
