Why is Mexico the leader Nation of Latin-American and Iran the leader nation of Muslim Middle East ?

Mexico is the richest latin American country and one with oil. As for Iran being a leader nation is probably because Ahmidenyad has a big mouth. I don't know where you get that from though.

Does the rest of Latin America agree that Mexico is the leader? I just don't know, myself, but I hadn't heard that.
Does Muslim Middle East agree that Iran is the leader for that matter? Because I hadn't heard that, either.
idont know about Mexico but Iran is certainly not the leader nation of the middle east. Iran is Shi'ahs which are 15% of the entire Muslim population which is Sunni. Egypt is the leade of the Arab league and the second strongest army in the mideast after Israel.

Mexico is certainly up there, however, I would have to say that Brazil is considered far more internationally significant. Brazil occupies 40% of South America's land and has a similar proportion of people. It has a fairly evenly divided export market (unlike Mexico, which is essentially dependent on the US).
I would think Saudi Arabia would be the "leader" of the muslim middle east.
