Should law-breakers be thrown out of the country? How about starting with President Bush's staff?
Casual Lawbreaking at the White House

Answer:
Yes, they should be thrown out of the country. It would be fantastic if we could take every U.S. citizen who commits a crime and throw them out. ("Escape From New York" was a good idea if you ask me.) Unfortunately, there is nowhere to throw them. No other country is going to volunteer to take our lawbreakers, just as we should not volunteer to take other countries lawbreakers. I understand your compassion for those across the border. If I lived in Mexico, you best believe I would be hiking across the desert trying to get here. But... you must understand that if we are to take on more citizens, it is necessary, and in our countries best interest, to decide who will be a good addition to our nation.
It is not fair that they must live in poverty but, unfortunately life can not be fair no matter how much you wish it to be. So, you must fight for the greater good. If illegals want to come over and work hard and be productive, I say, take them in. But, if they want to be an economic drain, and commit crimes, join gangs, what have you, we must wash our hands of them. We do not owe illegals anything and if it is decided that we will allow those who are productive members of our society to stay, it is important that people such as yourself realize that this is a courtesy we are extending. We do not owe this to them.
Nice try. See ya!
pinch yourself you are still dreaming
Man is that stupid. Should law breakers be thrown out of the country? No, why would anyone say that?
Well, that depends. If they were born in our country, that really wouldn't be feasible.
No, unfortunately they are legal Americans, but they can rot in hell if they want...I don't care. Illegals should be thrown out just for being illegal, and those on visas who break the law should be thrown out.
I think it'd be a fair compromise to throw them out - and throw out all 12 million illegals. A better deal than the Amnesty 'compromise' being rammed through Congress.
Just run with that op-ed as fast as you can..typical..
are you that Judge that sued the dry cleaner over his pants?
that would surely make you a no-nonsense jurist..
you go guy deport anyone..you want..Please start with anyone that won't work a job that a Mexican would work..we'll all be better off.
They want to be thrown to Cayman Islands, Monaco, Bahamas, Dubai, or Luxembourg.
( sin verguenzas )
would that be similar to the Clinton's stealing the furniture and other items from the White House when they left? Or lying under oath, thats a crime too. Forget the BJ, he LIED under oath, and to the American people. that is the real criminal, not Bush
Their arrogant is only exceeded by their incompetence.
Casual e-mail policy violations are only the tip of the iceberg. Bush has issued signing statements on over 1,000 new laws, basically saying that he and his administration don't have to obey them (see first link below). Why should we tolerate a President who doesn't obey the laws of the land, the Constitution, or international laws such as the Geneva Convention?
By the way, Scott J, you've obviously been listening to Sean Hannity. He and his fellow neocon commentators made up that story about the Clintons stealing furniture. There's no truth in it. The man is a propaganda dispenser, not a reporter, and he lies all the time (see second and third links below)
First, any legal US citizen should receive appropriate punishment for any criminal activity. If you have proof that Bush and his team are participating in actual criminal activity, you better tell the liberal lefties. They've been dying to pin something on Bush for years, even if they have to stretch the truth a lot...
I would also like to see the Clintons in prison for their various "mysterious" crimes over their lifetimes...
Now, if you're an illegal in the US, you should be put on the first truck back to Mexico and the bill for arresting you should be sent to the Mexican government! Same goes for any other illegals from any other country...
Yes, illegal means illegal.
When we throw illegal immigrants out of the country, we throw them back to their home country. But if someone was born here and we wanted to deport them, where would we deport them to? Other countries might not want to take them. We'll have to find ways to punish them here.
Oh yeah, and Bush rules, and you're a moron.
Not a bad idea, especially given their antagonistic view of the US Constitution that Bush has called, “just a G’damn piece of paper”. If they want to destroy the Constitution and deny America’s citizens the rights it guarantees, they should not be afforded its protections either.
Bush is a very egotistical man, judging from his leadership. Why wonder why did the American people elect him; twice.
Some of the politicians running the show think impeachment is not the best option.
I think even if every single American does oppose his policies in Iraq, he will continue the same policies.
That law was broken un the Clinton years and will continue to be broken. It is a difficult law to follow in a political environment such as running the government is.
"Casual" lawbreaking! Nice term. No, not thrown out, just thrown in jail--all equally.
