WHAT ABOUT OVERSTAYs?
I notice a lot of the questions deal with people that walked across the border but what about the other ones? What do you think?

ppl overstay because when it comes time to renew a visa 1 out of ten ppl who try to renew it will be able to, the other 9 would be denied and sent back to their respective countries, ppl talk like it's soo EASY to renew it, unless you're a non-citizen you HAVE NO IDEA what it's like, if it were that easy this country wouldn't have a problem,
If he overstayed his visa he is not here legally. Period.
That would make them illegal. Who cares about others personal conveniences? Illegal is illegal
If they like it here that much..then the process should be worth it to them..and soemthing they take pride in
1. Expired Visa make him a illegal aliens
2. it's illegal also to work without permission from the U.S govt if you a Foreigner?
3. talk to a Immigration lawyer to see if you can help him
Excuse me but I spent to many years as a federal law enforcement officer. I was involved in anti-narcotics and maritime safety mostly. So for me breaking the law is breaking the law, period, dot end of story. Note there are ways for people like that to regularize their status. but until they do they are still committing a 3rd degree felony. A law breaker is a criminal, there is no way around this.
Make all the excuses you want. I say send them all home.
I think we need to make it easy for well educated people from all lands to immigrate here. The unskilled who want a free handout and do not care weather they break our laws need sent home with a warning we catch you here again you will spend five years cleaning Superfund sites with no pay.
