I think not only should it be read aloud, all Senators should have to remain present while that happens. What do you think?

DownsizeDC has been trying to put forth the Read The Bill Act. I know from fighting the National Animal Identification System (NAIS) that the gubermint goofs down there in DC that I talk to don't know what the heck they are voting on.
I am not going to vote for anybody who supports the immigration bill. It plays right into the hands of the North American Union. If it passes we can bend over and kiss our Constitution goodbye.
I think the pro-immigrant Republican and Democrat Senators are just lap dogs and puppets of the Mexican Government, La Raza(NCLR), the Hispanic lobby and their corporate buddies who want cheap labor. No wonder the senators needed the bill to be read out loud because they can't think for themselves.They are so used of others doing the thinking for them. In this case, the Hispanic lobby and Mexican Government is doing the thinking and voting for them.

I doubt that the senators who "wrote" the bill actually read the damn thing. I think it should be read aloud live on camera, so the whole country can see just how messed up this bill is.

I have to agree with that. Same thing as a filibuster. Don't just threaten it and have one side cave in. DO IT! I guess the politicians now days think they are too good for "punishment" like that! Can't see how it would hurt to sit and listen to a bill you are being asked to vote on.

All they read and care about are their pay checks.
They didn't relent many that voted for it wanted to keep it on the radar. More it is talked about more the public will know how bad it is.
Now it will have to be debated and hashed over and over getting more involved so everyone will know how bad it really is.
That bill was just to keep it going.
Bush, who hasn't read it either, is twisting their arms.
His legacy whether the bill passes or fails will be

Maybe they are now stalling until they can judge the backlash from the citizens.
