Word ! Im sick of everyone saying im rascist or hate mexicans. I dont i just hate paying for there health care and food stamps for they 5 kids. Im tired of people saying they come here to work and do the jobs other wont do , is that worth spending billions a year for there health care and housing and food expenses . What about the cops that got shot at all day and firemen that get burned . They get paid shi.t cuz all the taxes go to b.s. !
Unfortunately, the cost of deporting all illegal immigrants would also be prohibitive. I do think any immigrant (even if they are here legally) who commits a crime serious enough to put them in jail should be deported as soon as they've served their sentence.
And that's just the ones who commit crimes other than illegal immigration. I can only imagine the impact on health care, economy, and social services.

i have emailed California about the illegals. all Americans that are educated on this mess is/did their best to stop our communist govt. like Lou Dobbs said, it's a sad day in America.
Good old Arnold wants to be able to run for president, he's hoping that they'll change the laws for him. But he probably does mean it. I have more reasons than that to want them all deported but I couldn't list them all in one day!

The cost to deport would not be prohibitave.
First, build the fence to keep out the next wave.
Second, shut down any business that hires illegals= take away the incentive for illegals to come in. Tens of thousands will leave on their own.
Third, empty the prisons of the illegal scum, and deport them deep into Mexican territory.
After all of this is done, then talk about a worker program.
After all, this is America, and we are compassionate people.
If a reasonable program can be set up, with good enforcement, fair wages and some chance to become citizens, then most Americans would accept that.
But, most of us just do not like giving blanket amnesty, and we do not trust the government to secure the borders, or enforce the new laws.
One step at a time, one law at a time. It just can not be done with one penstroke.
I'd be willing to eat mac-n-cheese for the next year and use the money saved to help defray the cost of deportation and wall-building.

i think you missed the point of the email. what can we do with them all? jail them? it's too expensive! deport them all? i hate the situation, we are all in unfair and uncomfortable situations...both sides. mass deportation is not the answer! think of this: how many millions of illegal aliens are in the country now? if there was a sudden manhunt for them, chaos would errupt. we would create a new terrorist group before our eyes over night. another thought: while i hate that americans are having to support so many who pay nothing into the system, what are we to do? listen to yourselves people! if we cannot deport them, if we cannot accept them, what will we do? put them in camps?? exterminate them? you have a right to be angry, we are all angry about this...but beware of what paths that anger leads you down. america is the home of the free and the brave, not hitler...so don't sound like him!
That just goes to show the difference between LEGAL IMMIGRANT/NATURALIZED citizen and an illegal alien.
He recognizes the problems and knows he earned his path to the governor's office, legally.
He has contributed, not taken from our society.
