Why Mexican immigrants in Germany, France & Spain assimilate succesfully to European Cultures?

Answer:
Because those countries DEMAND that they do. Immigration laws are very strict and they do not hesitate to deport those who cause trouble. Especially Spain. They will even interview your neighbors and are allowed to check inside your home without your consent.
- because their aren't that many of them (compared to here)
- because they are further from their homeland
- because those that go over tend to be more educated, so it's more likely they learned the language in advance and are better equipped to assimilate into society.
- for those that go to Spain..it's obvious--they already know the language and culture!

also...the European cities tend to be more cosmopolitan anyhow..with many immigrants from many different countries. So assimilating is easier than here, from a social perspective.
Gunter, I doubt you're a social scientist with valid research on the topic, so I'll respond to by saying that Mexican immigration to Europe is different, as it implies greater distances, expenses, education, visas prior to arrival, etc. I lived in London for a while (and I'm Mexican) and is not easier nor visibly quicker (the assimilation process), it's simply a much more diluted population, and much more diverse in urban centres that you simply do no see that assimilation is just as delayed.

Educational background and linguistic competency obviously makes it easier for some, but these are two distinct groups of immigrants.
They do? That isn't what I heard from Spanish press. I mean, I'm sure SOME of them do, just as some do here. However, I have seen a lot of headlines indicating the opposite, at least in Spain.

However, they are further from a huge group sharing their culture, which makes it easier to assimilate. It is one reason we should have more diversity in immigration, ourselves.
That's easy.Because there are fewer Latinos in these countries,so they have NO choice but to learn the language and behave themselves.I'm not too sure about Spain,I've heard some Spaniards complaining about how we Latinos are(generalizing of course).
Because they HAVE to. It's alot more than a common border and close ties to give them an excuse. Plus.personally...I want to see facts that say poor Mexicans get anywhere else in the world other than over the border to the US and maybe to Canada. Heck...if it's so easy.they'd be running there. Maybe those that go there aren't reconquering anything and aren't forcing their "culture" on people. Name 1 European country that has 20 MILLION illegal Mexicans comming in.
