How to obtain a birth certificate from Trinidad and Tobago when I am now in London and cannot do it in person?

contact the T&T embassy in London. they will give you the address of the registrar in T&T. you then have to write to them requesting a copy of your birth cirt. they will forward this to the embassy in london. it will cost you a small fee and might take some time. i had to do this for mine as i was born in africa and had lost my one and only copy.
Maybe you could do it online if such a service is provided by the gov't office that deals with birth registry in T&T.
If not, maybe you could get a power of attorney and have a relative in T&T request for the birth cert on your behalf.
See if they have any Dept. of Vital Records departments websites on the internet and contact them from there.
You closest embassy will be able to do it for you for a small fee
