What does a doctor with a 25 yr practice need to do to get a job in a european country?

he has already worked in medicine for last 25 yrs.
what is he required to do apart from getting a job letter?
Would appriciate if you have a opinion on this.

Answer:
Without knowing which country he's from I would start by making sure his creditals will hold up in Europe. He may find out that the university/college (or whatever school he went to) may not be credited in Europe and he may need to do some extra courses to be even considered a "doctor".

I think the rules may depend (just a little) on which country he wants to, which languages he speaks (especially if he knows the terminology in a foreign language).
