"BEST agents found more than 50 illegal immigrants Thursday morning at the Gateway Hotel located on Stanton and San Antonio.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials received the anonymous call, said ICE spokeswoman Leticia Zamarripa.
KFOX reporter Sara Morris investigated and found that this isn't the first time illegal immigrants have been found at the hotel."

no because the bill says that you have to have proof you were here in the U.S. before January 2007.
just because a gaggle of illegals get found in a hotel doesn't mean immigration is up nationwide, sheesh.

The bill is not going to work, who's to say if an illegal has been here for 2 weeks or 2 years. These people are undocumented! It's completely ridiculous!

The bill being discussed in Congress right now will spur a wave of illegals like we have not seen before. Anyone with access to a computer/scanner/printer combination can come up with the proof of residence that the bill requires.
If this bill passes the foundation of the United States will be forever changed and it will not be for the better. The world will miss the United States when it's gone. The world's welfare will stop.
There is a reason the United States is the world leader that it is and it's not by giving welfare to anyone that has a pulse... Yes we're a nation of immigrants. We're the big melting pot. THAT's the problem. These people flooding our borders today do not want to become Americans the do not want to assimilate into our culture they want the U.S. to adopt their cultures and they only want the benefits that being legal in America affords them. Those that protested in California this year displaying the mexican flag over an upside down United States flag were screaming for us to give back California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas to Mexico. Does that sound like a group that want to become Americans?
Yes, it is...there are LOCAL reports all over of the increase of illegal aliens in their areas...although if you listen to the national news (even on Yahoo) they will say it has decreased...I trust people who are seeing what is happening first hand..

I THINK that any immigration bill that will legalize illegal immigrants, will prompt more illegals to come here in hope of becoming legalized.

That's the news story?? Its only 3 lines! What in this story indicates a new wave of illegal immigration? 50 people? That's hardly a record setting number.
And even if some people try and hop the border and lie and say they've been here since Jan '07, how many people would it be? 10? 100? 20,000? Either way its a drop in the bucket of the 12-20 million already residing here...
