How long does it take for am immigrant to come to the united states legal?l?

if i already married him in honduras

Answer:
Assuming he's never been deported from the United States, or lived, or worked illegally in the United States. From the time you file the I-130 it will take 6 months to a year for the visa to be issued (If you are a US Citizen). If you have a Green Card it will be just over 5 years.

If he has been deported, lived or worked illegally in the USA, then all bets are off. It could take up to 10 years, maybe never.
that all depends on the government, and how long it takes to get the paperwork pushed through.
About four years. They will probably let him come in long before that, unless he was here illegally, then he can never become a US citizen. Under current law anyway.
Figure about 18 months
It depends.. it can take years. if you have married him in Honduras it doesn't count. you would have to marry him in the U.S. I know that if you are a U.S. citizen and you marry an illegal immigrant then he can become a citizen but I don't know anything about the paperwork. consult a lawyer or look it up on the immigration website.
It depends on the backlog of applications for legal residency that are currently being processed at the US consular office in Honduras. Usually about 6 months to a year.

Welcome to my country. i love immigrants.
it depends if you are a us citizen, it will take between 3 months and 1.5 years. if you are a legal resident, it will take around 8 or 9 yrs.
You can also get a visa for him, so he can live in usa and wait for his resident card here.
talk to the us customs or immigration and they can give you more information about it
Anywhere from 5-25 years 5-7 year wait for application to be reached if approved about a 7 year wait at that point for a visa#/green card if you do it right 12 years if you are lucky.

If he has ever overstayed his visa 20-25 years + 10 year ban + re-apply 20 years = 50 years.

The government is on a go slow to out live the applicants both mentaly and physicaly

.
Less than 6 months. Apply for K visa to enter.
well with the current congress, anywhere from 3-5 business days.
At least a year to get a green card and workpapers. If you go to the US emba ssy in Honduras it will be faster than going to the embassy in the states. My ex daughter-in-law did it all at the US embassy in Budapest before coming to the states. She was told it is faster in her own country. It turn out that we were total suckers and she really just wanted to get into the US,that is another story..
