Since the government is hell-bent on getting this immigration and amnesty reform bill passed and everybody I know wrote to their congressmen/women telling them of their displeasure with this bill and they STILL are intent on passing it, there is nothing else we can do for the moment. SO BOYCOTT THE BUSINESSES THAT EMPLOY ILLEGALS. If enough people did just that, there would be eyebrows raised in that phucking Washington, DC! By the way, don't forget WHO voted for that bill and when their next election time comes around again, don't vote for those candidates!

just like the illegals marching in LA,,, all talk and very few doing it. what the illegals need is a chance to stay and resolve their issues the right way or move within a certain time frame back to mexica and apply properly
Honey, don't do without for the illegals. Just don't patronize any restaurants, stores, or big businesses that employ illegal aliens. There are some American businesses left in the world! Only buy American!!
It wasn't "illegals." It was supposed to be all immigrants as well as those who felt our immigration laws needed revision.
The idea was to show the impact of immigrants on our economy, so people would recognize they represent a sizeable portion of society.
What many people forget in the whole immigration debate is that, except for Native Americans, we're all immigrants here. It seems kind of hypocritical to want to prevent other immigrants from enjoying citizenship in the country that our parents or their parents chose to be home.
Also, things like NAFTA and other policies of our government have created the problems in Mexico and Central America that make it difficult to remain there. We provided incentives for illegal immigration then complain about it. That doesn't make sense.
