Yes some hobos have it made more then the rich, middle class and blue collar workers put together. They only have to worry about where they are going to sleep for the night and maybe some drugs, tobacco, alcohol and food. That is pretty much it. They don't have to pay taxes, pay bills etc etc. It is quite interesting that their lifestyle is less stressful. No responsibilities except to themselves. I would know I have been homeless 3 times however it was only temporary until I got a job and saved some money to get an apt. So, I can say what it is like to be homeless. Not all homeless people are like that though. Some end up homeless by unfortunate events, but if they stay that way they like it. It is almost like the prisoner who always goes back to prison over and over. They love it! Three free meals a day and no bills and free medical care and they bury them for free! Now that is the perfect retirement plan!
There are perpetual Bums in every country and culture. So, yes, they can... and do.
Lazy. If he's bothering you just don't talk to him again. Or don't walk past him if he's in the same area everyday. Tell him to get himself a job, that you don't give hand outs.
Ya, i guess you could bet used to being homeless and like it. everyone is diffrent and have diffrent intrests. I personally wouldn't talk to him, and would tell him that he needs to start fresh, if he is young he might get sick of begging for food and money.
Crazy as it sounds but yes. People get used to living in the nick and repeatedly go back in there because it's familiar and they get to like it. They don't have to worry about bills, poll tax etc.
He's working you, don't give him another penny and I would try to avoid him if possible. Haven't you ever wondered how all these people on the streets always seems to have money for fags, beer and dog food? Seems quite amazing to me - cut your ties now!
I have a cousin that is homeless and has been playing the system for 20 years. He won't go to work. Says he makes all this money and never has to pay taxes or anything else. He likes it.
I also saw a newsprogram where they interviewed panhandlers in Chicago. They make some serious money. One guy makes some serious money. He dresses like a bum, panhandles all day, changes back in to an expensive suit and drives his Lexus home. Says he makes a couple of hundred thousand a year. Things are not always as they seem I guess.
He must have a drug or alcohol problem. I know someone close to me who is homeless and she has a full time job. Her boyfriend drinks too much and thinks he is worth more than what he has been paid in the past so he would rather not work at all if they don't pay him what he thinks he is worth. She is paying for everything and can't afford the high rent in Calif. They just will not listen to any advice,such as moving to a cheaper area.it is very sad but you have to let it go. Some people really must it the very bottom before they will change and help themselves.
