What makes yoy think that they will enforce any new laws?
The legislators are responsible for the immigration problems, they created it , all they are interested in is getting re elected.

I don't believe they will. Their intent is evidenced by congress' authorization of 700 miles of fence, but have yet to fund it.
Nothing. In fact, this is so far a repeat of the '86 Amnesty:
Amnesty now, in return for a false promise of enforcement later.
The dimorats are masters at creating new laws that looks "good" on paper but are gauranteed to be unenforcable and make the problems worse rather than better. Which is blamed on Republicans by them and the MSM so therefore new taxes on the rich are required to clean up the mess.
You don’t have to worry because there will not be any new laws – and the truth is that Washington does not want new laws any more it wants to enforce the existing laws. Nothing will ever be done about immigration, so people may as well quit worrying about things that they will never see.
The beneficiaries of illegal immigration are: 1) the Mexican government and 2.) US business (which means the same thing as US government). As long as the governments want the current system, it will stay the current system –get used to it. Politicians only use the immigration issue to get votes and then they forget about it.
A wall will never be built, and if built it will not work. The Mexican-US border has the third most legal international trade in the world. Nothing will be done that will interfere with this trade. Therefore, any wall would come with pre-built holes. Besides, this is not the 15th century and walls are not realistic defense structures.
Also, forget doing anything about the immigrants already here. There are 20 million illegal immigrants in America. By comparison, following Katrina, there were 100,000 people, gathered together, who wanted us to get them out of New Orleans.
We could not retrieve 100,000 when we knew where they were and they wanted to be found. How are we ever going to round up 20,000,000 that are spread out throughout America, and who do not want to be found? We are not – because we cannot.
There certainly are decisions we have to make, but every possible ‘solution’ mentioned so far is just political hypocrisy and a stupid waste of time, energy, and money.
Those of you who claim this is a liberal issue (although it was drafted and supported by a bi-partisan group) should remember that this bill will only become law when your endeared President Bush signs it! Last time I checked, he was a conservative.
And yes it will be enforced because of all the attention surrounding it. Term limits? We already have them. Its a good thing too because it prevents a rogue president from eventually broadening his own powers until he becomes a dictator.
They will not enforce any of the laws,when they pass this bill they will have what they want and they will leave the rest of us to live with the situation. They have no compassion for the extra problems brought on us.

Let your reps know that you will never vote for them again if they consider this immigration law another day.
We have presidential candidates who are willing to close the border first with no legalization of anyone before we have national security! Support these people.
It is time for all of us to stand up for the things that have made this country great; not roll over and let illegal invaders come in and destroy it like they have their own country! The Mexican spirit is not the same as the American spirit. And I did not elect my senators to represent Mexico or illegals. Write them, call them, fax them every week. One from my state's senators has already been turned around, (she is up for election in Nov 08!) Re-election is the only thing they understand.
Notice the pro-illegals are silent on this bill (on this site) because they know (as well as we do) that the illegal aliens WILL NOT COMPLY with it.

Because the illegal aliens are blatantly SAYING they won't.
They didn't comply with or respect our laws before, what makes anybody think they will now??
Will an illegal alien VOLUNTARILY come forward, be slapped with a fine, deported, with the "possibility" of citizenship later?? FAT CHANCE!!!
