They want Stanislaus county to not only be a sanctuary city but to 'notify the Brown Berets and other 'community groups' if ICE is in the area so they can tell illegal immigrants.

It all starts with Plyler vs Doe. The Doe being used to protect the identities of illegal alien plaintiffs. Now there is a perversion in and of itself. Here we have the Supreme Court hearing a case from criminals ,way over reaching their authority, and then bending, twisting, and perverting the 14th amendment to obtain the desired result. This was the first of the "look the other way" policies. The fact is there should never have been a Plyler vs Doe because the plaintiffs should have been deported.
The case involved whether or not the law abiding, taxpaying citizens of the United States should have to pay for the education of people that were in this country illegally. The Supreme beings ignored the fact that they should be deported and instead decided that ,hey, as long as you are here we'll educate you and we won't tell anyone you are here and we will make it illegal to tell anyone you are here. Now the problem with that is the Constitution does not guarantee you an education. It is not a right. In other words, the decision is by definition, unconstitutional.
Now if the Supreme Court can "look the other way" then local governments figure it is ok and they can look the other way.
Obviously the Brown Berets are a racist organization and their demands are ridiculous...but then again, the decisions made by our Supreme Court that set the precedent is also ridiculous.

I think it's a lot of hooey! It's like the honor among thieves club! We won't be able to stamp out ignorance even when we do get these illegals out of our country. Are you surprised about this kind of an organization? They know they are on their way out and it's a last ditch effort to hang on, it won't work but I'm glad you're aware of all of the laws these people are willing to break to keep us supporting and educating them.

I think that all emergency funding should be withheld. If they aren't going to abide by laws then why should AMERICANS give them money to protect themselves from the invaders.
I think they should be charged with aiding and abetting criminal behavior.

I say the same thing to local governments who try to pass more restrictive laws on illegals. Its not their job. Immigration falls under the jurisdiction of the federal government not local bureaucrats.
Although if federal immigration reform never happens I won't be surprised if we see more local governments trying to take this immigration thing into their own hands. Both for and against illegals I imagine.
And if you are asking if the "Brown Berets" are really a civil rights group, then I'd say yes based upon the history of the group I read on Wikipedia. If its the same group that is..
Since when is a group called KKK whose motto is called WHITE POWER? who goes around trying to do away with everyone who is not white? What is worse? Killing blacks, hispanics, and anyother race that is not "WHITE" supreme...which there is no such thing.
Brown Berets... I don't think you know who they really are. They are just another civil rights group just like any other who protect the right of the people.
They have bumped their head.. There is NO way that is going to happen. Why would they need a sanctuary if they're LEGAL in the first place? If they want to migrate to America, learn to fit in with the citizens, learn English, or get the hell out. There's no way we're going to accommodate them like that.. Absolutely absurd!
They are a misguided bunch of fools who advocate law-breaking. They would be a true civil rights group who might merit respect if they limited their actions to working to improve the conditions in Mexico and to helping legal immigrants assimilate and educate them.
I think that Homeland Security should show up, explain to them that aiding and abetting any illegality is a crime.
