I've said it before and I'll say it again ... if the illegals get amnesty, with or without the requirement to speak English, what about those people who have gone through the legal process and are waiting for years to get their green cards? Presumably they will have to continue to wait, while the illegals suck up our social security, education and health resources .... fair? I do not think ...

I should bloody well hope so. Legal immigrants have to demonstrate an ability to read, write, speak and understand English. If that requirement is waived I would be upset enough to exercise my right to protest loudly and peacefully.

It does however require Illegals to pay back taxes and fees they will then go to the back of the line, and then earn citizenship.

Yes of course. This is USA, language is english. You want to take advantage of being citizen of this country , you have to learn english. Give some effort....... and also learning is for your own good ! isnt it?
