Take your babies and run to Mexico or Canada. It's the safest bet. You never know what this fascist regime is capable of.
I would talk to an immigration lawyer. I have heard through people that it doesn't matter. There are millions that go through this. It's the fact that he/she is trying to become legal. I also heard if you get in trouble for any reason and you go to court and you tell the judge you are in the process of becoming legal the they will usually let you go as long as you can show proof you are doing paperwork to become legal.
Have your husband get you an immigration attorney. Something he should have done once he married you.
Did you file your federal income taxes each and every year?
you're going to get deported, sorry. they deported a US senators wife, and she wasn't even using fake documents!! so they will certainly deport you. you need a lawyer...REALLY bad. get one.
