If Mexicans are hard workers, why cant they take their hard work to their country to fix it up?

Because is not about working hard bussing tables or fixing a roof. It is about politics, corruption in the government among other socio economical issues in the whole latinoamerica.
Because these things are too hard to do.
It is EASIER to sneak in,then lie-cheat-steal your way to a better life !!

According to 'the new collosus' All people are welcome in the US. The pay and living conditions are so much better why wouldnt they come here? But i dont agree with illegal immigration either.

I understand what you are saying and I tend to agree with you. But, you have to remember the Mexican economy, political system and culture are much different than ours.
Mexicans are, by and large, are very hard workers that simply want to provide for their families. Pretty much the same as you and me. The problem is, in Mexico, political corruption, high inflation and low wages makes them seek a better life elsewhere.
So, they go north in search of a better life. I can't blame them for that. What bothers me, is the way they go about reaching their goal of a better life. The ILLEGALS that are here have broken the law, plain and simple. If you want to come to this country, by all means come on in! Just do it LEGALLY, please. Is that too much to ask?
BTW - when you get here, don't try to turn your new country into your old country. It is OUR country.
Ask your ancestors,parents why they messed us up emotionally,spiritually when all we really wanted was a fair shut at a better lifestyle that might have been possible if your Poppy's and mammy's had not sabotaged our early attempts through racism,physical and mental abuse as I am sure was the case with you as well that were raised by them.

Well in some ways they are making there country better> they send money back to they're country and I know someone who say in 5 years he will have enough to retire and go home to Mexico. Well that well and good, but he is taking a job away for a legal American. Someone like my son-in-law who need a job to feed his kids not to retire. So Most of the money they make goes to Mexico. And we pay for the Medicaid and food and they go back "someday" an retire at a young age. wow I wish I was Hispanic
