Escape Prison Charges By Deportation?

Child molester --Vallego whose sexual abuse charges capture National news media attention and riled anti-immigration supporters after he tried to dodged the charges by getting deported back to Mexico pleaded guilty Thursday to molesting a 4 year old (this was a full penetration act-but they use molestation for that age).
Jose Pablo Vallejo was sentence to six years imprisonment the "minimum" sentence for that crime. .But hopes to escape charges by getting deported. This is his wish.
Now many are railing saying let him go making it an immigration issue.

Now my question isn't really about his nationality or what he was doing here illegally. What my question is should we allow this man to be deported and not serve the small amount of time? Should we be responsible to make sure he stays here in a prison?
And what about other crimes?
How do you feel about any of this? Him the girl (4 years old)

Should or shouldn't we allow people to escape charges by getting deported??

Answer:
It is sickening and he should get the max, then deport him. In minor crimes i would have no problem with just deporting them instead of paying for them to be in jail.

I had seen the story.

Are there really people rallying to say someone who raped a four year old should go free 'because he's an immigrant'?

THAT I didn't see. Link?
They should do their time first and then be deported, with severe sentences if they return.
Commit the crime,do the time,no matter whereever U came from or legal status in this country!
Of course he should go to jail. The longer the better and then his *** should be deported.
No, that monster serves his time and then we deport him. I wouldn't want to be responsible for letting him loose on any other child in any other nation without his punishment being enforced. That little girl deserves the tiny amount of justice that was granted. Serve the time and get a one way ticket back! He'll probably get hurt or killed in prison, you know how they hate child molesters! They don't get an escape clause when they've molested innocent children or any sexual offence. Monster first, illegal alien second!
We've had a number of ones opt out by willingly being deported..only to come back and do it again. They served no time here or in Mexico and were back within a week. One guy was deported about 3 times and never served a day for any of his crimes. They were all child molestation cases as well. The last time they did lock him up. Needless to say he was a tad upset by not getting his deportation wish.

I beleive they should not escape their crimes. If they can't guarentee they will serve their time in a Mexican jail or a jail in whatever country they came here from.then they should serve their time here and then be deported. It makes me sick these criminals just using the border as a revolving door to escape responsibility for anything. I know one guy here clubbed his wife to death and ran to Mexico and then went to California where he was caught doing another crime and fortunatly they checked him out and he was then sent here to serve his time.

It makes me sick when anyone messes with children. If it were up to me they'd get the death penalty or never see the light of day again. I don't care if it's part of someones culture....that crap stops here.
chop off his shlong and deport him so we dont have to spend our tax dollars putting him up in our overcrowded jail system.
It is really sad to see that this crime is being turned into an immigration issue. These are totally different subjects and this person should face the consequences of his action independent of his immigration status or his nationality.
