Why shouldn't a brave american senator filabuster the senate vote for illegal alien citizenship?

(this is the website where you can find ways to torment your senators with daily letters and emails, too, to vote AGAINST the strive act, a/k/a the illegal alien "z visa" bill, because mr. bush is almost forcing our senate to get it passed, ach tung!)
i wonder sometimes if our own representatives have the b*lls to stand up with an intelligent argument and questions that would effectively postpone a senate vote long enough so that the american public, all of us, fully understands exactly what mr. bush so direly sees as necessary law for OUR COUNTRY?
while one courageous, outspoken, senator that has READ the strive act, analyzed it, READ the new amendments to it runs a senate filabuster, we americans that realize the damage that the strive act will do to us can flood the senate floor w/telegrams for senators to vote "NAY!" to it!

I think the big problem here is that President Bush made a deal to support Teddy's plan, if the Democratic Congress would release the funding for our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, without a mandatory surrender (I mean withdrawal) date.
I will express my disapproval to my state representatives on any plan that provides amnesty for the criminals that have invaded our country. As for Bush, I guess when you sleep with wart hogs, you should expect to wake up with warts.
They tried to but the leadership of both parties had a special procedure to end run it. However, I hope that will work on Thursday. Many who voted to open debate are doing so to pass thier amendments. If they do, it will jeapardize support one way, if they don't pass, those may well not vote for cloture to close debate. However, we have to be very active contacting our representatives.
