There is less then a zero percent chance of that. The terrorist who attacked us on 9-11 were not illegal they were on student visas. This is the same kind of straw man argument that the pro-life movement uses in terms of rape and incest. The statistics just do not match up. Further what else you going to do with 12 million people? It is not easy for an Iranian to just sneak in. Second the terrorists are not sneaking in from Iran or Iraq. They are all from our friends Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Kuwait.

Has any one even looked at this proposed policy. Its not as easy as forking over $5000 dollars. I am a big proponent of legal immigration and do not believe in amnesty as far as I can see this is not amnesty. I am having a hard time figuring out what people want. We cant possibly deport 12 million people and I know we cant just give them a free way in. Especially considering there have been thousands trying to get to this country legally. This proposal gets them documented and the fine reimburses for the drain on the economy the illegals have caused.
Criminals is a little harsh title for these people. I may have done the same thing to provide for my family if I was in their situation.
