Unfortunately my 2 senators voted for cloture. They will pay with their jobs.
I called Senator Cantwell's office and her aid belittled me. Neither myself nor my husband will be voting for her in the future...We have ALWAYS voted Democrat...no longer!
I am from Texas and if my People for for this bill they have lost my vote.
Just off the phone with Senator Bond's office. Apparently the phones have been jammed with complaints all day- I'm happy to say, that Americans are speaking up!!
I almost feel sorry for those people who have to answer the phones. They've been getting tons of hate calls.
One has voted for this travesty from the beginning. The other opposed (at least voted against cloture the first time and at his website seems Pro_America, not pro-Mexico North.
But Mark Pryor flipflopped today, and I am appalled.
Phone lines were busy right until I had to go to work at his office number. Got thru to the other's office...they hung up as soon as I said I was opposed to the bill.
