More questions... advice please?
I just found out that my mother married for the USA papers; can I get in trouble if I know about it?
Her immigration lawyer knows about it, and they don’t even live in the same state (as a matter of fact, he lives with his g-friend & my mom with her b-friend)
What can happen if they get caught ?
What happens to the witnesses ? (not me)
What happens to the sponsors? (not me)
Answer:
turn her in to the authorities
ask for immunity
if they get cought, she wont get her papers and will be deproted and everyone else can say they didnt know and wash their hands off.

If she gets caught then she wont get her papers and will be deported. If your father is a citizen (born here) he could be fined and could be imprisoned, and if he is a green card holder or a naturalized citizen then it can be revoked. Nothing happens to you- if you were born here...
sponsor may go to jail for 2 years, your mother may be arrested and deported, witnesses and the lawyer may face criminal charges and fines like $10K or more. It is all very dangerous game. It is bad
If she is caught, her status will be revoked for fraud.
If anyone lies on her behalf, they can face penalties.
The sponsors will not be accepted as future sponsors and could face penalties as well.
If her lawyer knows and allows her and witnesses to lie to officials, he is suborning perjury and should be reported and disbarred.
