I was rushing. I was replying more to wickedlooks answer. I was saying it's not a statute of limitation, because If it was, we would still be able to prosecute the illegal immigrants who was hiding for 10 years. Hiding a crime is considered a continuation of the crime. I am uncomfortable with that part of the bill as well.
As for the fence, we still can't build it on the entire length of our borders. We need to get the Apache on board or all the illegals would be funneled through the hole in their territory. THe only other alternative is to fence off the Apache reservation near the border, but that would make a nasty statement towards our fellow citizen.
