ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS:
• Those who arrived before January 1, 2007, will be given immediate work authorization, granted a "Z" visa and put on path to permanent residence.
• Head of household must return to home country within 8 years. They will be guaranteed back in.
• Penalty: $5000, staggered
ENFORCEMENT:
• Double border patrol, new security perimeter, border fence.
GUEST/TEMPORARY WORKERS:
• Guest worker program cannot begin until enforcement provision is in place.
• 400,000 temporary workers per year enter on two-year visas, must return home for a year then re-enter for additional two years. They may come three times.
• Earn points toward merit-based green card.
• May bring families on 30-day visitor visas each year.
I personally think the government just wants to cash in on taxes from the 12-20 million immigrants this covers. Even if the illegal immigrants were granted citizenship would they take it? Part of their wages would be taken as taxes

to our Senator's and Representatives and tell them that
we will vote them out if they support this bill, NO TO AMNESTY
keep pounding it into their heads until they realize that we

Pelosi and the senile democratic leadership have traded votes( getting illegals) for support of the troops. Bush has finally lost his mind. Now he caught up with the dummycrats in ignoring the well being of the country in favor of illegals. It is disgusting.
this bill is a disaster waiting to happen, and all who vote for it are traitors to our country.
this will create an entirely new class of illegal immigrants:
1. people who never applied for the Z visa because they didn't have the money to pay back taxes and the fines.
2. people who got their visa, but didn't follow through w/ the requirement to return home within 8 years, or got off track paying the staggered $5000 penalty.
3. guest workers who came in legally but overstayed their 2-year visas
4. family members who come in on visitor visas and overstay their 30-day visa
it creates a beaurocratic nightmare, as the government will be overwhelmed with an enormous backlog of applicants, and the herculean task of making sure those who come in legally, but overstay their visas, go home!
This "reform" is disgusting. Bottom line, illegal immigrants have NO right to be here. They are criminals, and the majority of Americans do not want them here. They are a drain on our social services, and do not contribute to this country and I'm sick of paying for them. May 17, 2007: The day America died.
you cant enforce this problem this is reality it wont go away the border is to porous you cant build walls big enough the or hire enough border agents the best i could offer is to establish Mexico as the next American colony and tax the heck out of them
How many of those families on the 30 day visitors visas would go home. As for the head of the household would really touch base in the real counties. I bet that for every step of the way in amnesty there will waivers. And wavier are not possible fraudulent document will do the trick

If this bill happens to pass ~~ which I sincerely doubt ~~ there will be beaner blood in our streets because the Americans and legal immigrants won't stand for giving these criminal low-life scums the amnesty this bill plans to offer. Their own country doesn't want them, why would anybody else want them? They have absolutely nothing to offer civilization.
