Everyone here benefits from having "illegals" working here. We pay less for groceries, we pay less for services such as construction, yard work, carpentry, etc. They work jobs that NO ONE is willing to work, even poor Americans!
Mexican families bring a sense of culture and family values to an American society that has lost its culture and structure of the traditional family.

I agree with Chuck - the most racist posts I read are from the pro-illegals. They are the ones that keep stressing race when it comes to illegal immigration. Illegal immigration is about our LAWS, not race. So, put away your race card!
Since this issue is ONLY about our laws, anyone breaking our laws is a CRIMINAL. Yes, I know, the Pro-illegals hate that term and will yell and scream and throw an tantrum. However, what should you call a person that is blatantly disregarding the law? I think criminal fits very well.

BTW, where is your proof that the illegals are NOT a drain on our economy? It's easy to prove they are! $9 BILLION is paid just in CA for the illegals. They don't bring $9 billion in. The Heritage Foundation estimates it costs $22,400 per year for each family. This takes int account things they bring in.

Before you get caught up in more hatred towards America...which I am guessing that is where you live, you know, the place that gives illegals free education and provides jobs and gives medical care.which if I am not mistaken, in most of their home countries they would be denied this. Not everyone has hatred towards illegals and anyone who stereotypes a large country like the United States, which contains all fifty states, territories, and millions of people because of some people's opinions and what is viewed on the television just demonstrates ignorance.
All of us, exccept for the Native Americans have come from Immigrants so it is hard to forget about modern day ones. Our families overcame the stereotypes jjust like the new immigrants will. Might I remind you of the Irish that came after the potato famine and built canals with Germans and Italians that had no where near the benefits that immigrants (naturalized or illegal) have today. Remember the Cajuns? Probably not, because they have moved on from the time that they were persecuted for being Catholic and were kicked out of their country and came to America where they were able to pick up the pieces of their lives.
And lastly, one major thing to remember...if yours or your family's home country is ever in trouble, who do you think is going to be there to help? Yes, our United States.
Before you accuse us of not having "morals or empathy" you should reflect upon your own morals. Anyone with morals knows enough not to accuse others of not having any, Oh, and if you are lucky enough to be an American citizen then obviously you have empathy towards immigrants, which means you are wrong in saying that none of us do.
You ask when will others learn, but when will you learn not to be a racist? If you hate our country that much and think that everyone is like this, then you have much to learn. Go live in another country and you will see just how luck anyone is to be from the United States.

One of my relatives is an english as a second language teacher and she asks the illegals in her class how they can afford so much children(some of them are closing in on 10) and they tell her flat out that they are on WIC and that they are illegal. You sound like a young person who hasn't had to work much for a living or tried to accumulate anything after working all your life, raising a family and being taxed every which way you turn. I have no empathy for someone who chooses to get pregnant and then doesn't want to pay their hospital bill. A pregnancy is not a disease, it is chosen so why should the American people keep paying for it? Now, if you want to get technical they aren't receiving welfare but their anchor babies are! I planned out my life and didn't have a baby until I could afford one, so why should my tax dollars and the tax dollars of other responsible people go to pay for the babies of all these irresponsible people?
