How would a CHEROKEE indian react to a AZTEC demanding to live in their territory?
Answer:
It would depend on how many Aztecs and their subsequent behavior. More than one European came over, and they were accepted as fellow human beings. The Native Peoples of the East Coast shared with fellow tribes and did so with the Europeans. It was the Europeans who brought with them the concept of ownership which was not a part of the Natives culture. This led to conflicts and the mess that insued.
they would open a casino and charge him an entrance fee. ;)
They would Fight, Just like we Should.

Like the "Early Americans" (settlers) - different indian tribes killed each other due to cultural and language barriers, out of fear for their lives or just plain ignorance.
The Nahuatl languages are related to the other Uto-Aztecan languages spoken by peoples such as the Hopi, Comanche, Paiute and Ute, Pima, Shoshone, Tarahumara, Yaqui, Tepehuán, Huichol and other peoples of western North America. They all belong to the Uto-Aztecan linguistic family which is one of the largest and best studied language families of the Americas consisting of at least 61 individual languages, and spoken from the United States to El Salvador. This is a grouping on the same order as Indo-European.
It is also a widely held belief that the Aztec migrated back and forth to North & South America before settling in Mexico.
Wasn't it staking out on anthills? Or was that a different tribe? I forget, but I do know the Cherokee weren't one of the peaceful coastal type. And the Apache purely hated the Pawnee.
In fact as I understand it, their language, every one of them, refered to their own tribe as 'the people' and everyone else...wasn't.
