Answer:
No, its next to impossible for an American to even visit North Korea.
You missed an excellent documentary on North Korea last night on National Geographic Explorer......
you would have to call immigrations for n.Korea. good luck.
No way! And why would anyone want to move to the Hermit Kingdom?
Yes, if you are tired of the good life that we have and enjoy here in the USA, then you could go to North Korea or Cuba, why not ! But remember, one way trip.
Think of Roach Motel.
You can move in.
But not out.
Probably is now. That Ford you buy in Beijing was built in North Korea. So with American jobs going there I imagine an American could

that link is to a story about a man who deserted the army in 1965 and defected to North Korea.
I saw a special about it in 60 minutes or one of those news shows about a month ago. Each home is equipped with an intercom that plays government propaganda inside your home and whole bunch of other absurd stuff happens there.
Food and other basic necessities are rationed out by the government.
It is a communist dictatorship, scary, scary place.
Why would you need to move, America is slowly turning into North Korea.
i dont think so. they hate americans! everything is "death to americans! we love kim jong chong jaa"
no I don't think it is and if it was I really don;t see why anyone would want to move there, if you truly must got to Korea please go to S. Korea. ot's much better there.
check in the embassy.
lol the person who told you that they allow one family every decade is false. Are you taking about like white American? Korean Americans can go anytime. But if you're referring to White Americans, it's not exactly easy to get in but they do accept people. I've seen a large number of white people in Korea. It's not as impossible as that "someone" said.
