It is, but what can you do. i already got negative reviews for supporting my people. We all have different opinions, i will stick with mine though.
As a supporter of amnesty, I find that I get far more negative reviews than my critics.

Since this is the world wide web. I think if you don't agree with what someone has to say then you have every right to express your disapproval. There are many people in this section I disagree with and I do thumb them down. However, I am not disrespecting them, I just don't agree with their ideas.

It all depends who is online... sometimes it seems that the majority is on one side, and at other times it shifts. Today seems to have been a pro-illegal kind of day, lol. I don't give thumbs down to people who have different views than I do - I save them for the people who are mean, use offensive language, incite others, and don't answer questions. We're all entitled to our opinions, whatever they may be - and they should be given respectfully when possible.

No... Its because alot of people who are against illegal immigration make racist comments like "All Mexicans need to get out because they're dirty and eat tacos!". I respect people's point of view but when their comments are stupid and stereotypical then thats when I give them a negative review.

I agree with you about illegal immigration, but the reviews, even though they are supposed to rate whether it is a good answer or not, are usually judged by whether the person agrees with you or not. I would not call that discrimination. Just disagreement.
There are some people that are for it and some against.
I think about the unfairness of all those people waiting, and then a bunch of people taking cuts and our government letting them.
I'm not sure about everyone, but I've read so many who associate ALL of Mexican descent as illegal immigrants. Some were born here, some were born in Mexico but went through the proper procedures to get here.
It is annoying to listen to people with ignorance who say all illegals came from Mexico, and that all those who speak another language should learn ours, even if they are just visiting. French people come here, German people come here, Nigerian people come here, and not all of them stay, not all of them speak English.
I am against ILLEGAL immigration, but not against immigration. That is how we all got here. What if the Indians had made laws against us way back when we all started taking over their land? Should we all be deported? We were not here first, the Mexicans were. We stole a lot of the United States from Mexicans.

I am a "white girl" do not appreciate people coming here and not following the rules, however not everyone who is here is illegal, not everyone who is here is planning on staying.

Truthfully, I've wondered the same thing myself. We are all entitled to our opinions on illegal immigration & shouldn't be ridiculed for those opinions. Some of these same people who see nothing wrong with illegal immigrants entering our country, are also against turning the illegal immigrants in to the authorities. What's up with that? Again, tomatoes are hurled because some believe they should be turned in. Can't we agree to disagree here?
