This is my question my husbands from pakistan and im from usa he has a pass port he can come and go?

when he wants- but for me and my 2 year old daughter we dont have a pass port- is there anyway he could get a pass port for my daughter without me knowing? and could he take her to pakistan with me signing anything on the passport?...or could i take her anywhere out side of usa with him signing anything? thanks

Answer:
The Department of State requires the signature of BOTH parents of a US citizen child to get a US passport for the minor child. This is to protect against exactly what you seem to be concerned with.
I recommend that you do some searching and reading at the State Department website www.travel.state.gov to see what your legal protections are.
The correct word to search with is 'passport' (all one word).

The door swings both ways. YOU may not get a passport for your child without his knowledge, and neither of you may take the child out of the US without her own US passport.
