American LOVE for cheap prices and deals fuels the immigration problem too?

Don't forget that if we weren't programmed to always buy cheap we would be living differently. Capitalism at it's base is about consumption - and this necessarily attracts certain problems.
If you do not like illegal immigration, cheap chinese goods or whatever the hell is destroying this country, do not patronize it.

Agree?

Answer:
Are you kidding? Why do you think big business has DELAYED marking where foods originate as required by law, etc? We'd ALL pay more to protect our own workers and industry, and they know that damned well.
That's not enough for liberals. They want to BAN you from making your own decisions. They would love to outlaw Wal-Mart and prevent YOU from choosing where you buy goods.
I am sure that immigrants like to pay cheap prices too.Live in Europe for a while and see how you like those high prices. The cost of utilities will bust your piggy bank in a hurry.
The water bill would shock you.
Paying 6 dollars for a gallon of gas is worse than paying 3 dollars every time.
So you'd bring down Capitalism to preserve your vision of the American way of life? That doesn't even make sense. America thrives on competition- we should be shouting in the streets "Bring it on!".

When did conservatives lose their guts? Terrorists, Mexicans, Gay Weddings, Stem cells - EVERYTHING scares the bejeezus out of Republicans lately.
