Doesnt it finally seem like things have cooled down in this section of immigration and people are using it to?

ask real immigration related questions?

look at all the latest questions, they have something to do with immigration laws and they are not questions related to bashing by pro or anti people

Answer:
No, blogs on that new internet site are really taking off. I think eventually, google and that new website will replace Yahoo's answers. It is a bad idea for Yahoo to try to censor. When it does censor that causes a decrease in revenue. It is obvious that MyTend people don't have basic business skills. They need to take marketing classes or put an MBA in charge of the section.

Yahoo is losing "market share" says internet research firms. It will eventually collapse or it will be bought by another company just to survive.

Google is also starting a new message board like the one Yahoo shut down.
They may have seemed to cool down in here yes, but out in the real world, I can tell you people are mad as heck. They want enforcement now, then think about if our laws need changed later.
Yes, let be for real just enforce the Immigration laws on the books and keep MyTend to real Immigration Questions!!!
People just got tired of loosing their accounts, You cant have an opinion someone disagrees with or you get reported. The issue is still there. Most who believe in a cause went to groups to discuss matters since we are tired of illegals and pro illegals getting our accounts suspended because they cant argue when antis are right so they just report us. But they will never win when they are ILLEGAL.
Yes, and do you notice that us regulars really don't have the answers for them? Pretty darned funny to me! LMAO!
Its still very heated in the evenings.I try not to be on here after a certain time, so that I don't have to read the insults from both antis and pros. Its very counter productive to any sort of legitimate dialog.
Go To NUMBERSUSA.com and alipac.com It has by no means cooled down...People are actually doing something about it!
I don't think that the immigration issue has cooled down. I think that people are waiting to see what the present congress is going to do. The Democrats will push for amnesty, because most mexican immigrants will vote Democratic. It is obvious that the politicians will stay away from this issue because of the political ramifications. Even though the Democrats are the majority in the Senate, there is a 60 vote requirement to force closure on a motion. That may cause this to be another do nothing congress.
From my point of view it's aways been about "laws" (not being enforced). We have laws on the books if enforced, our immigration problems would be non-existent or at a minimum. The best immigration laws I've seen is Mexico's. Mainly because they enforce them, it's even allowed them to maintain their sovereignty.

Mexico is allowed to imprison and deport ANY illegal alien from their country regardless of their nationality or color, without being called a racist or discriminating.

Chaos is alive and well and freedom of speech has a rope around it's neck. There are now rules for speech, say this, don't say that, use this term, don't use that term. If you don't accommodate, you are labeled and many times censored. Much of what we can get away with depends on who we are and what we say, therefore most people choose their words carefully these days.

A revolution and martial law is brewing behind the scenes, because things appear a bit more quiet does NOT mean everything is OK or that everybody is accepting everybody or that everybody loves everybody. It's always quiet before the storm.
Not to me.
It hasn't "cooled down". It's called censorship. I have several friends that asked very mild questions compared to some on here. The questions never appeared, they never got a response from "Yahoo" about it. No freedom of speech here anymore. I wonder if anyone can report Yahoo for violations?? LOL...only joking. Nothing us peons can do about it. It's their website, albeit free, so don't know if anyone can complain and accomplish anything.
yup, it's better, and i'm not so angry all the time. i was beginning to think american people were total crap. and if it hasn't cooled down at other sites, well...i don't want to go to them.
