All the Pro Illegals Say...Everyone in the US is an Immigrant?
Answer:
Not everybody in the country is an "immigrant." Look the word up in a dictionary. And then contrast it to the term "alien" in the same dictionary.
This country was founded and built by immigrants. The Indians immigrated centuries ago across the Aleutian Island chain. The Scandinavians and Europeans came relatively recently. Since then we have welcomed immigrants from China, Japan, India, and just about every country in the world.
These immigrants adapted to and adopted their new culture. They forsook any allegiance to their previous home, or that of their forefathers, and replaced it with allegiance to the United States. They have educated themselves. They have contributed to this country's culture and prosperity. They have fought in its wars.
An alien has no allegiance to this country. He has no interest in its welfare, economy, culture, or prosperity. He has no thought in his mind but to take as much from it as he can. He sees citizens with freedoms and possessions. He figures he has as much right to them as do the people who live here and abide by our laws. They think we should adopt their culture and adapt to it. Mexico is a broken country. So they come here trying to break this one too.
If you ask a citizen who has an Hispanic heritage, they will tell you that they decry the influx of the moronic crop of parasitic aliens. One of them with whom I spoke recently is a Korean War Veteran. Another with whom I spoke, just last night said that her great grandparents immigrated from Mexico. These people have worked hard to establish their citizenship. These illegals are spitting and defecating on all those efforts.
The US is a pretty friendly place. I have an apple tree in my yard. It was planted by my grandfather. Every year I look forward to apple pie and the sweet, crispy apples right off the tree. If somebody walking by sees the tree and asks for a few apples, I'll probably help him pick some of the best for his use. I would probably refuse any effort he might make to pay for them.
But if somebody climbs my fence and climbs the tree, breaking branches, knocking down the fruit, and steals my apples, I take offense. He is trespassing. He is stealing. He is a criminal. If he tries to break into my house and steal one of my pies, he does so in peril of life and limb. I don't care what his motivation. He saw the apples and figured that he had as much right to them as I do. He sees no need to ask. He wants it. He steals it. And the process of acquiring the apples legally was so simple... knock on the door and ask.
That's why I am against any rights whatsoever for aliens. Any employer who hires them should be heavily fined. They should not be allowed to own any property. They should not be allowed credit. They should not be allowed to drive--or even own or rent a car. They should not be afforded education except what they can pay for. They should not be afforded police or fire protection except what they can pay for. They should not have access to medical or dental services, except what they can pay for.
Now, I have no problem with their supporters, those who would become accessories after the fact, helping illegals. If they want to adopt families and take responsibility for feeding, clothing, educating, and caring for them, that might even be considered admirable, were it not for the fact that those you are aiding and abetting are breaking the law. I say, "More power to you," with the caveat, "You are breaking the law and are likely and should reasonably expect to be punished." But I have a problem when you try to force me to spend my tax money to support your cause. It's your cause. if you believe in it... put YOUR money where your mouth is.
They would run CA, AZ, and NM into the ground like the rest of thier country.
Mexicans were here first!
We have to do what is best for the American people, not for the illegals. The past is done and over, it's today we have to deal with
I think you are right dude...but it is not only Mexicans it is all Illegal Aliens..if they are European, Asian, African, or Latin...they all are criminals and should be deported...
The pro-amnesty people forget one important word when they say that we are all immigrants - LEGAL! That makes a huge difference.
My ancestors were LEGAL immigrants. The current 20+ million are ILLEGAL alien criminals that are here breaking our laws!
WHAT PART OF ILLEGAL IS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND!?
I was born here so I'm not an immigrant. People who come here to make money and then go back to where they came from are not immigrants either. They are aliens. Immigrants come here and stay here for good.
its true, we are (almost) all immigrants, but when my grandparents immigrated they did it legally, they learned english, they followed the rules, they didn't complain about having to wait their turn, they didn't bring drugs with them, they didn't complain about security checks and documentation paperwork. I have no problem with legal immigrants from Mexico, a friend of mine from college is a Mexican immigrant, but he didn't commit any crimes and jepordize national security, he followed the rules and became a naturalized citizen.
I surely hope not! Yes, everyone is an immigrant from somewhere but those of us born here to legal parents are no longer in immigration status. We are a nation now, with laws that should be followed and borders that should be respected. I want to still be proud to be an American!
Thats just all they can come up with to defend criminals.
Stop reading comics and go read a history book,Moron.Mexicans do not come from Spain.
The difference is our relatives that came to the United States did it LEGALLY, by the rules.
My great grandparents came from Italy. They went through the Legal Process also they had respect for our country
It was considered RUDE to speak their native language in the new land. They learned English and only spoke Italian when at home.
Just because we failed to enforce laws and the borders does not mean people get to cheat or bypass the people that worked hard to be legal citizens.
Many of the ILLEGALS don't bother to learn English and consider the southwest Mexican territory . They figure if they can overpopulate those areas, they will own it.
Screw the past & deal with the present!
What part of "illegal" is so difficult for them to comprehend?
NO AMNESTY!!
i want tacos
Citing historical reference to "we're all immigrants" is no argument. Migration of mankind from Africa is certain. So sure, the first migrant tribes into a land were immigrants. We're far beyond that archaeological point of reference.
Legality of immigration is an issue once an established gov't sets forth law that controls immigration. Breaking US law is criminal- period.
And as many have stated in this post- every person born in the US is automatically a citizen, we're not all immigrants. We're actually all native Americans.
Occupation is not a guarantee of ownership of a land mass. Any one can invade at any time and force you out of your "homeland", or take over your homeland. Mexicans (more than any other nationality) appear to be doing that to the US. It is a slow, steady invasion, both legal and illegal. I suppose for historical reference, the Indians took up arms against the Europeans and eventually lost North America. As the current occupants, should US citizens take up arms against illegal (and legal??) immigrants to defend North America from a new invasion?
I keep trying to tell everyone this common sense but no one listens! Sure my family was kidnapped and brought here but they also had a part in shaping America, mexicans act like without them, we wouldn't be. Thats bullzht. Asians, whites, blacks, ect. all contributed.
They are not saying Mexicans aren't immigrants either. THey are making a point that the US and all the anti-illegals think it should never allow immigrants or to kick all the out.
Yes, the US was built by immigrants, not illegal aliens
