In the immigration debate? Why only hispanic? I can think of many philippines, chineses, african?

Why is it only about hispanic, why not just let 12 millions asians, 12 million africans, 12 millions whites from poor eastern european and russia into the USA...since it is not about race.if you let in 12 millions hispanic have a pass, only fair you give every race the same pass.

Answer:
It's not about nationality, it's about the fact that they are illegal. Send them all back unless they need asylum.
Amnesty might be given to the Hispanics in this country because of the work they do for us. Americans standard of living is to a level where they will not work on farms or do work that most Hispanics that come to this country will do. You must also think about their children who can become citizens and their parents who cannot. That is not fair to split a family up just because of availabel citizenship for children and none for adults who happen to be parents. Also, many Hispanics come to this country to work and make money for their families so they can have a better life than the ones they have had before. Why do you think so many Cubans drown each year trying to make it to the United States? Why do you think so many Mexicans pay money to people to sneak into the country or sneak across the border? They deserve the American dream too. Just because we as citizens were born here and they were not does not give us the right to deprieve them of their right to the path to citizenship.
Randall, Most asian are skilled and they work legally in here so what is your problem with that? If there's asian are illegal immigrants here it means they're overstaying or other reason. Perhaps you thinking asian has a tunnel connected in america. and i don't think they want to fly in mexico and cross borders "But you never know" lol
Exactly - its not about race. The United States does not have a quota system - 12 million people from every country and race are allowed in - Immigration policies dont work like that.

Every sovereign country has the right to implement laws and border controls which express the concerns of its citizens that immigrants are being non-productive. In the latest debates, this concerns those migrants who have entered into the United States illegally.

Immigration policies are about ensuring that only those people who are genuine people, who wish to work, who can speak english, who are of good character, and who are healthy and will not be a burden on the health system and the tax-payer, are assesed and given access to work and live.

Those immigration policies may seem unfair to many people, but they do exist for a good and valid reason. And until the people / citizens of the U.S chose otherwise, the government is implementing the will of the people.
I agree, and it is unfortunate that the illegals are willing to do the work that we Americans feel it is beneath us to do. The illegals do not complain , they do the job quickly and efficiently. All races have their flakes and lowlifes. It is about character traits not their race or color of their skin.
But like anything in life those who have abused this right have tainted the reputation of others who have not.
You seem to be misinformed. They were not debating amnesty for 12 million Hispanics, they were debating amnesty for 12 million illegal immigrants- which include people from different races- its just people like you seem to think only hispanics are illegal.
I don't care where you come from. If you you come here illegally, it's time to leave or be deported! This problem isn't about race with me. If you come here legally, welcome! You come here illegally, get the hell out of my country today and not next week!
