1- is there any other way to get a temporary visa to USA till my immigration visa become available to me ?

Me and my wife are really suffering from that very long time of waiting for my visa till become available to me and we live separately because my wife has to stay in USA as long as she can in order not to loose the Green Card and in the same time i can not travel to see her because it is not allowed for me to get a tourist visa to even visit her for a while because she is there and this againist domenstating that i have very good ties with my original country !
