Did you know an amendment to require a government ID at polls was defeated? And more don't like bill per poll?
http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/...
And here is the poll:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/rasmussen/200706...
"Public support for the Senate immigration reform bill has slipped a bit over the past week. A Rasmussen Reports poll conducted Monday and Tuesday night found that just 23% of voters now support the bill while 50% are opposed. Last week, 26% supported the Senate bill while 48% were opposed.
Forty-nine percent (49%) of voters prefer no bill over the Senate bill. Just 32% prefer the legislative compromise over inaction."
What do you think?
Answer:
I didn't see the part on ID for voting, in teh articles, but I have stated many times that it was the thing I get most upset in the issue of illegal immgrants. I take crime statistics and cost in stride, but when people illegally tamper with how our government is run really gets me mad. Granted , now the news that we might give amnesty to felons has been promoted above the electoral process, I still have ton to say on the subject. I have often time wrote how illegal immigrants helped Loretta Sanchez get elected, but I won't go over that again. The only reason I can figure why the government won't vote for having your ID checked at the voting booth, is that people on both parties knows that there is a group of people who's vote can be bought.
Not showing your ID at the polls, looks more each day like they are fishing for votes.
I think they've already taken over and pretty soon we're going to be forced to convert to Catholicism or Islam and forced to wear scarves and speak Spanish or Arabic. I wonder if there's anyone left who cares more about freedom than dollars?
You warped the story to fit your needs again.Cain't read cans ya?
