Why is Carlos Slim Helu' so Wealthy? of Mexico? second richest man in world?

Mr. Carlos comes from a country, and does most of his buiseness, where 40 PERCENT of the population is in dire proverty.
How can he be richer then Warren Buffet who does most of his business then the United States,
With one the largest middle-classes in the world?

Carlos Slim, the Mexican tycoon just a hair from being the world’s richest man, scoffed yesterday at Bill Gates and Warren Buffett for “playing Santa Claus” to cure poverty’s ills.
No competition
Because Mexicans are successful Business men. But is not like you say. . . Many Mexican-Americans in the USA are also wealthier than you and your country tribe.
