I'd like to ask all illegals why they came here illegally?

I am not an illegal but would like to comment on your question. First, our ancestors did NOT come here illegally. Immigrants came thru Ellis Island, on a per country quota basis. They were turned away and put back on the ship if they were sick, mentally ill, diseased or unable to support themselves. They did not sneak. Many of them sold everything they owned, endured the hardship of a long ocean voyage, packed like sardines in the steerage section of a ship, with many deaths along the way. On the otherhand, the Mexicans and other South Americans assert they are "entitled" to the fruits of our ancestors labor, and sneak in here and get every free social service they can, often pushing poor Americans out of the way to get them. They are taught to justify every wrong doing. They know better, because Mexico and the other countries deal harshly with illegals, and illegals are given nothing. To all Illegals, No Matter What Your Culture Has Taught You: STEALING IS WRONG AND WON'T BE TOLERATED. That goes for stealing your way into the United States.
I was born in this wonderful Country. I do not feel you will get a truthful answer from any illegal criminal alien that is here now. They will give you the answers that they think you want to hear.

Don't you realize that the vast majority of people in the US descend from those that were immigrants at one time or another?

If the same Immigration laws that exist today were applied 100 years ago, your ancestors wouldn't have been able to come either and they would still be peasants in Ireland somewhere.
I don't think you'll see any answers from any true illegals...just the fake ones we see on here daily pretending. I seriously doubt a true illegal making 5 bucks an hour can afford a computer, much less an internet connection. You'll get answers from their supporters and a bunch of trolls, but I'd guess that will be about it. Just my .02 worth.
The bottom line is THEY'RE LAZY to wait for their papers. I saw alot of mexican processing their legal status in USCIS.
dang this issue is so divided just like my *** crack. i dont know what to say but ill hope god makes a change for the better for this type of issue :) plus we should definitely stop illegal immigation 4 real.
FAMILY! Something I have noticed Mexicans value more than most Americans. My father left his family at the age of twelve and my mother left at the age of sixteen, they both worked here in construction and as a waitress and sent all the money to their families and only kept what was needed to continue to stay here. My father still works in construction and has been able to reach a managerial position but still sends money home and sends my fours sisters and I to college. They are both legal now and thanks to them my family in Mexico lives comfortably and I am able to get an education. I give thanks to this country for giving my family the chance for a better life.. no bull this is true most people who come leave their families back home. I have cousins working in New Orleans who have newborns they have not seen and it kills them to be apart but they do what they do for them.
Papers cost money which most people dont have so they come here illegally. Just because they don't wait for papers does not mean they are lazy.
Have fun asking 12-20 Million ppl. I bet their answer will be the same as if you asked Europeans back in in the 20's. Please immigrants don't do the work Americans won't do for $2 an hr. Please immigrants don't help us keep prices of goods down by using slave labor. Please immigrants don't pay sales tax, property taxes, and income tax, we don't need your money. I'm sure all the retiring baby boom generation would prefer not to have money in SS. Lets remove 12-20 million workers overnight and replace them the next day without anyone noticing. Lets get all the americans on welfare that refuse work, and make them work.
I like how people who are answering are saying the "we have a right to a good life". No one has the right to a good life, you have the right of the "pursuit of happiness". That doesn't mean you automatically get it. And in breaking the law (crossing our sovereign border illegally), you lose all rights. If people obey the law, they are entitled to all the rights that this country provides for it's citizens.
I was born and raised here in the U.S. and i am proud to say that my family are immigrants and the reason they came here is for a better opportunity in life. my father is now a U.S Citizen so is the rest of my family. and i am proud to be part of a family that came with nothing to be able to succeed in a country filled with opportunities. How is anyone cousing problems to our nation? If most of the immigrants here do most of the work if not all to provide vegetables for your dinner, keep your garden clean, make an addition to your house and babysit your kids while you work or party. i dont think that they are doing any harm to this country they are just making there money in the best way that they can. i hope that this answered your question and you think differently of immigrants.

One illegal told me he came here after a guy from his town came back from the US and was driving a nice car with nice clothes and flashed him a wad of cash. He said life was better in his country, yet he lives here? Makes no sense to me
