In Mexico - do they have to press one to continue in Spanish?

is it because you are so ignorant to assume and when you talk about Mexico or Mexicans you automatically think, "immigration" or "illegal." go read a book or something. and also, I don't think they would have to press anything because almost all speak Spanish. In America, we do that because there are a tons of people who prefer it in Spanish.

Why not. Many people here are from your country. And we could treat them better. We usually try to. My neighbor across the street is from Nebraska, you know, and he never complains about our city (Monterrey).
