I am an indian citizen who has met and want to marry a US based green card holder what are the visa options?

Answer:
So far as immigrating to the US is concerned, you cannot get a fiance or marriage visa - that requires a citizen to petition for you which, by definition, a Green Card holder is not.

You could try an employment or study-based visa. Employment visas, particularly, are very hard to come by.

You could always try the Green Card lottery but the earliest you could get in is 2009.

Edit: Yak Rider, you MUST be a citizen to petition for an alien fiancee. Permanent Residents cannot petition for a K-1 or K-3 visa - not legally anyway. See the link below.
K-3 spouse visa.

The first answer by skip is wrong.

The wait for a visa is about 5 years when petitioned by a Green Card holding spouse. A US citizen spouse has no quota so the wait would only be 6 to 9 months.
why not live in india...
