Are you kidding me? First off, $5000 is nothing compared to the detrimental cost of them being here in the first place.
Secondly, we won't collect a dime from these illegals. You know that our govt won't enforce this. The best prediction of future behavior is past behavior. Doesn't look good if the amnesty bill actually passes.

Given the fact that they will become eligible for backpay for "Earned income" but no back taxes, the 5,000 dollars is a joke. Each illegal will now qualify for tens of thousands of dollars in tax payments.
There is no way that we are going to collect anywhere near $ 5,000 per illegal, there are going to be more loopholes than illegals is this sham of amnesty is passed. Even it they were able to collect any money, the cost to administer this program will far exceed the the monies collected. If you want to see how this amnesty will be conducted, just look to the debacle of the new passport renewal program.
