Why do immigrants just expect to be allowed here?
Why? Why us? No other country just lets people in. I can't just wake up one morning and move to France; they wouldn't let me stay. Truth is, most other countries have much harsher immigration laws than America. So, why does everyone think we can just let everyone else in?
"America was built by immigrants" is a lame excuse. Technically, every country was built by immigrants at one time or another. How old does this country need to be before we can just be a country like all the others?

Because Mexicans have an overwhelming since of entitlement and cry racist when you point tout that they actually have to follow the same laws you do.

they are allowed to be here, they have the right to come to our country.. but our country is allowed to, has the right to, make sure they do so legally.
Look, you're getting off easy. A few centuries ago when whites decided they were "colonizing" a land that was already inhabited, they butchered the natives and those that survived, were stuck into reservations - where many of their descendants still are today.
If you want to kick out the immigrants - maybe you SHOULD move to France, hon. I'm certain it's not that difficult.
Immigrants or LEGAL foreign residents are allowed by your government because of skills, employment, marriages, etc.. These immigrants are governed by your laws. Any violations could mean deportation.
America as far as I can remember don't have what I call TRUE AMERICANS. The only true americans in your country are the NATIVE INDIANS. Thus, YOU are also an immigrant.
They keep saying how proud they are , so why don't they just

That's probably the same thing the Native Americans were thinking when white settlers moved in and destroyed their lives, stole their land.
I don't think that ILLEGAL immigrants belong here. We're exploiting them by underpaying them, and not giving them the benefits and Social Security that they're entitled to (they can't collect it w/o a SS #). However, this country does belong to immigrants. Our white ancestors decided that when they took over the country - we can't now say it doesn't belong to immigrants because that's very hypocritical. If it doesn't belong to immigrants, then everyone but the Native Americans must leave now. Latin American immigrants (I assume that's what you mean by "immigrants") take jobs that most citizens won't do - you'd be paying twice as much for food and such if North Americans were doing the labor because Latinos demand less.
This country does belong to immigrants. My ancestors came here at one time seeking opportunities just like the Latinos are today - it's only fair that Latinos get the same chance. I'm sorry that you feel threatened, but facts are a large wave of immigrants is coming, and we will have to adapt to them. We need them because the U.S. has always relied on cheap labor. The lower-class white population here isn't growing, and we need people to do the work. There are also many Asian immigrants being RECRUITED to come here because there aren't enough people in the States that are qualified for jobs in fields like science and engineering. Jobs have to be posted here first before people are recruited overseas. Facts are there are more Chinese people that excel in those fields than Americans. I don't think immigration law will get much stricter because we need immigration to some extent, and because of this country's PC nature. If we closed the borders, prices of goods would go through the roof, and companies would shut by the thousands because there just aren't enough people here to keep the country going.
I admit I have some concerns about the majority of this country's people being Hispanic (will happen soon), but I think that everyone fears change, and instinctively desire to be around people that look like them. But, I don't let these feelings rule me.

I know that when you say Immigrants, you mean Mexicans. The only reason I have is because WE WERE HERE FIRST!! and our land was taken away from us. Booyah.
Why do the Mexicans cry that they were here first? I don't hear the Native Americans crying over spilt milk. My great-grandmother was native American and my family has adopted the Anglo-American culture. We are proud of our past but you have to move on.Immigrants have made America great it is a melting pot of cultures.If you can't melt in then go away.
