I don't think it would put an end to the corruption that is happening today. It would, however, make our elections more fair because more people would vote due to the convenience.

Uh , which country do you refer to ? Here in the USA , there is no such thing . Anyway , I think voting online would be a farce .We can't even be sure about polls , as it stands now .
I think it would likely make it even more modern and convenient for those factions to totally own the entire process and prefabricate any desired results to whatever degree of precision deemed necessary.
When I was a kid I used to think online voting was just a totally neato concept. Well it would been voting on the teleophone back then.

That would be hard to set up and monitor. Do you really think THEY would be honest about the results? BUT the Internet is a great tool that brings all of us Americans together in "one room" where we can talk about what is going on. What needs to be done. Who is to do it and so on. For the first time in History we can affect what happens across the nation in seconds. This scares Washington. It would not surprise me if the US instated a China-like "Internet Police" really soon. Too many of us are outraged.
